About 'Who's Who' - the philosophy
of a bibliographic encyclopedia
For over 150 years, Who's Who
editions have been providing accurate, concise biographies of
notable distinguished people. Today, several Who's Who families
of directories include the biographies of millions of leaders
and achievers from every significant field of endeavor.

Expected publication date for
the issue 2010-2011 is April 2010. There will be two publications,
a German volume and an English one: Who's Who in Visual
Art - 100 Künstler der Medien Malerei, Grafik, Digitalkunst,
Skulptur AND Who's Who in Visual Art - 100 Artists
in Painting, Graphic Art, Digital Art, Sculpture
The volumes have a limited number
of 100 entries, and both they contain biographical and professional
information about visual artists of the media painting, graphic
art, sculpture, digital art, and fibre art. Each listing is accompanied
by a sample image, a few of them even by an additional big size
image. Private and public art collectors, gallerists, librarians,
artists and museum and education professionals will find Who's
Who in Visual Art indispensable. |

The Listing
Each entry takes in size 1/2
of a full page of 21 x 15,8 cm. Entries are arranged in alphabetical
order referring to the Surname of the artist. Each listing contains
all important biografical information as for the topics CO.=Nationality/Country,
M.=Medium, S.=Subject as for artwork, C.=Artwork
in Public resp. Private Collections, E.=Important Exhibitions;
AE.=Art Education; AA.=Art Awards; P.=Publications.
A sample artwork in high print quality completes the entry. |
